Sectra is looking for a motivated and curious Pathology Lead who is excited to grow their career in healthcare IT and technology. As digital pathology adoption continues to accelerate across the United States, healthcare organizations are transforming how pathology images, workflows, and diagnostics are managed. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to support pathology environments, troubleshoot technical challenges, assist with customer deployments and expansions, and develop expertise in a rapidly growing area of healthcare technology.

What You Will Do


  • Support customer environments by troubleshooting technical issues related to Sectra's digital pathology solutions

  • Assist with pathology system configuration, image import workflows, integrations, and technical setup activities

  • Support customer implementations, upgrades, and expansion projects, including new scanners, sites, integrations, and workflow enhancements

  • Investigate system behavior through log analysis, monitoring tools, and structured problem-solving techniques

  • Work closely with senior engineers, project teams, and product specialists to coordinate issue resolution and system improvements

  • Learn and develop technical knowledge across pathology workflows, enterprise imaging, integrations, networking, and healthcare IT environments

  • Communicate directly with hospital IT teams, pathology departments, vendors, and end users to support customer needs and provide technical assistance

  • Help document and share technical knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned across the engineering organization

  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams through responsiveness, collaboration, and professionalism

  • Participate in an after-hours support rotation once fully trained and onboarded

Who You Are


  • You have 1–4 years of experience in technical support, systems administration, healthcare IT, software implementation, engineering, or a related technical field

  • You are naturally curious and enjoy learning how systems work and solving technical problems

  • You bring a strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills

  • You have exposure to Windows and/or Linux environments, networking fundamentals, databases, integrations, or troubleshooting concepts through work, internships, school, or personal projects

  • You communicate clearly and work well with both technical and non-technical individuals

  • You are organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities

  • You enjoy collaborating with others and contributing to a team-oriented environment

  • You have an interest in healthcare technology and improving patient care through innovative solutions

Nice to Have


  • Exposure to healthcare IT environments

  • Experience with DICOM, HL7, SQL, scripting, virtualization, or cloud technologies

  • Experience supporting software deployments, enterprise applications, or technical integrations

  • Familiarity with pathology workflows, laboratory systems, or digital pathology solutions

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $75,000–$95,000, based on experience and qualifications
