Vacancy: Technical Painting Manager

We are looking for a Technical Painting Manager with proven experience in plastic injection moulding companies within the automotive sector. The aim of the role is to ensure the technical, efficient and stable operation of the automotive painting process, guaranteeing compliance with standards relating to quality, cost, safety, productivity and the environment, as well as the continuous improvement of the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and provide technical supervision of automotive painting processes.
• Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards.
• Analyse and resolve technical issues and defects in the painting process.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on reducing scrap and rework.
• Coordinate the implementation of new products or engineering changes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Manage budgets relating to the painting area.
• Train and develop the technical staff under your supervision.
• Manage internal and external audits of the process.

Job Requirements
Education:
Degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:
At least 5 years’ experience in automotive painting processes.
Plastic injection moulding company.
Paint booths.
Team leadership.

Technical Knowledge:
Automotive painting processes, IATF 16949 standards, continuous improvement, audits and project management.
