What You Will Do
Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
Senior assembly worker in small production team fabricating electronic RFID readers
Use of hand tools, power tools and CNC machines to process parts and material
Lifting and handling material, assemblies and finished products
Trained in operation and upkeep of all machinery and manual handling equipment
Following work instructions accurately
Complete all production reports and other documentation ensuring good communication and record keeping practices
Maintain good quality control of products by careful interpretation of job sheet details, assembly and inspection instructions
Promptly raise all machine issues, malfunctions, or product quality concerns with your shift supervisor or Team Leader
Ensuring a high level of tidiness and organization is maintained
Assisting in training, supporting and advising junior staff
Knowledge of Senior Tech Operator skills and undertaking those supervisory tasks temporarily when required to support the shift
Be proactive in site safety by promptly informing through EH&S Officers and representatives of any hazards, risks, or incidents
Remain informed on all company procedures, policies, and other information by participating in shift toolbox meetings and completing policy training
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the Quality and Environmental Health & Safety procedures and policies
Participate in routine stock takes
Carry out other assignments as requested by your supervisor or Team Leader
What You Must have

Effective operation of limited production tasks, plant, and equipment
Ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence, empathy, resilience and change agility

Demonstrate ethics and integrity, in line with company policy, and ensure responsible use of company assets particularly related to operation of plant and equipment
