UNSW Canberra School of Science offers undergraduate and postgraduate research degrees across established and emerging scientific disciplines, aimed at shaping the future of science. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the Technical Operations Officer provides general support to the School of Science through the maintenance of its assets and fleet of vehicles. In addition, the Technical Operations Officer will support the staff through the delivery of the management of assets, movement of equipment and furniture as well as participation in WH&S inspections and general School maintenance. You will report to the Manager, Mechanical Workshop.
Duties are varied but include overseeing fleet vehicles and workshop assets. General support to the staff. Development and maintenance of our online tracking systems. Taking deliveries. Coordinating contractors. General maintenance. A commitment to health and safety.
