Responsibilities:

You will lead the development, governance and continuous improvement of DataVolt’s global technical operations framework across the data center portfolio. You will also standardize how sites operate, strengthen reliability, risk control and asset performance, and serve as the business owner for the operations technology stack. Through strategic asset and capital planning, operational process ownership and capability development, the role enables safe, compliant, scalable and cost-efficient service delivery while supporting customer confidence, sustainability and long-term growth.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or another closely related technical discipline.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in mission-critical facilities engineering, data center operations, technical operations, reliability engineering, or asset management, including significant experience in 24/7 high-availability environments.
  • 7+ years in a leadership role with responsibility for technical governance, operating standards, process ownership, organizational capability, or performance across multiple sites or a major portfolio.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing technical standards, maintenance strategies, asset lifecycle plans, and operational assurance frameworks.
  • Substantial experience leading or governing incident, change and operational risk management in critical environments, including lessons learned and corrective-action programs.
  • Experience owning or sponsoring operational technology platforms such as CMMS, DCIM, reporting and analytics solutions, including requirements definition, adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting annual operating and capital budgets, prioritizing lifecycle investments, and evaluating reliability, risk, return on investment and total cost of ownership.
  • Formal training in mission-critical or data center operations, safe systems of work, operational risk, incident response and change control appropriate to a senior technical leader.
  • Evidence of current continuing professional development in reliability, asset management, data center operations, technology enablement, or management-system governance.
  • Uptime Institute Accredited Operations Specialist, Accredited Operations Professional, Accredited Tier Specialist, or an equivalent recognized data center operations qualification.
  • Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager, Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Specialist, Certified Data Centre Professional, Certified Data Centre Specialist, Certified DCOS Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor, or an equivalent industry credential.
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional, Institute of Asset Management qualification, or formal ISO 55001 asset-management training.
