Job Description

Job purpose:

As a Technical Operations Consultant, you'll be responsible for managing and ensuring the smooth running of our IT infrastructure. You will monitor all aspects of systems performance and availability including hardware, software, and network management to ensure that we're not only able to handle any increase in demand but also maintain high levels of service for all customers.

Requirements

  1. Ensures that the current process continues to meet business needs while being cost-effective and that the solution will support future growth
  2. Identifies ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered
  3. Analyzes and resolves customer issues and incidents
  4. Develops and maintains high standards of technical competence
  5. Works with customers on their infrastructure and computer systems
  6. Deeply knowledgeable of Dell's Hardware (Architecture)
  7. General server management, able to check servers, assist with application issues, assist with resource check and allocation

Qualifications

  1. 15-20 years experience with general server management, able to check servers, assist with application issues, assist with resource check and allocation

Experience with the skills below:

  1. SQL
  2. Dell hardware skills (Architecture)
  3. Data Centre
  4. Backups / ArchivingBasic network and firewall knowledge
  5. SDWAN
  6. Desktop support
  7. File and Print support
  8. Printer support
  9. Web filter / Proxy
  10. Microsoft: O365, Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, Intune, MFA, Security ATP
