We are looking for a Technical Officer, Cell Culture Scale-Up to support our Human Health Therapeutics Research Centre. The Technical Officer would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
The successful candidate will play an important role interacting with different R&D teams and functions towards the development of mammalian expression systems and bioprocesses for the large-scale production of biologics including recombinant proteins, viral vectors and viruses. Responsibilities will include the provision of technical support services in the design, planning, preparation, conduct and analysis of various experiments and/or tests, as well as technology transfer of R&D processes.
Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:
A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in biochemical/chemical engineering, molecular or cellular biology, microbiology engineering, or a related field.
A university degree in Bioengineering may be considered an asset.

From $83,435 to $107,838 per annum.
In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
