Job Description

Keystone is NetApp's Storage-as-a-Service (STaaS) offering, delivering cloud-like consumption, self-service management, lifecycle automation, and operational insights across customer environments.

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) IC2 to help bridge the gap between product innovation and customer adoption. This role will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, UX, Solution Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to transform technical capabilities into clear customer value, field-ready enablement, and scalable adoption assets.

The ideal candidate is naturally curious, customer-focused, technically strong, and passionate about simplifying complex concepts into compelling stories and actionable content.

Job Requirements

Technical Content Development

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, FAQs, solution architectures, and feature walkthroughs.
  • Create integration guides, API documentation, workflow examples, configuration guides, and release communications.
  • Build reusable technical assets that support customer, partner, and field enablement.

Product & Feature Enablement

  • Translate product capabilities and technical requirements into customer-centric value propositions.
  • Create sales and technical enablement materials, including:
    • Sales playbooks
    • Technical battlecards
    • Demo guides
    • Solution overviews
    • Competitive positioning content
  • Support product launches with launch-ready content and communication plans.

Customer Advocacy & Insights

  • Gather and analyze feedback from customers, partners, field teams, and customer success organizations.
  • Identify adoption challenges and recommend content or process improvements.
  • Partner with Product Management to incorporate customer insights into product strategy and roadmap discussions.
  • Develop customer success stories, use cases, and technical case studies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, UX, Program Management, and Customer Success teams.
  • Participate in feature reviews, launch readiness activities, and adoption initiatives.
  • Contribute to improving customer experience and product adoption.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud technologies, observability platforms, SaaS solutions, and subscription-based services.
  • Strong documentation, presentation, demo creation, and storytelling skills.
  • Hands-on experience with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Cursor.
  • Familiarity with product launches, technical demos, and customer enablement programs.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence, Figma, documentation platforms, and video/demo creation tools.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.Experience creating customer-facing technical content and enablement materials.Understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure, storage, SaaS, or platform technologies.Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Marketing, or related field.2+ years of experience in Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Technical Product Management, Customer Success Engineering, or Technical Documentation.
