Your Responsibilities:
New Product Development
• Develop and launch new products in B2B Sector of food and non-food raw materials. • Promote and sell developed projects to customers. • Identify and lead initial sales of new food and non-food raw material products. • Develop product formulations and oversee product specifications. • Work with the sales team to create go-to-market strategies and support product promotions. • Track product performance and gather feedback to refine products and strategies. • Manage the import and sell 1st shipment order of new product for development before transferring the business to sales team.
Technical Support & Product Application
• Generate product presentations • Coordinate with principal/ suppliers for technical inquiries and transactions • Provide technical advice on the use and functionality of specific ingredients in bakery, dairy and processed meat formulations. • Monitor projects such as but not limited to product applications, product matching, sensory evaluation and prototyping. • Support customers through product application development, prototyping, and trial execution. • Conduct product demo, assist in open houses, ideation and roadshows. • Maintain laboratory equipment with preventive maintenance • Generate and maintain project briefs, formulations and application related documentation • Collaborate with customers on formulation adjustments and troubleshoot any production-related challenges. • Ensure successful product integration and performance in customer processes. • Oversee technical document releases and updating • Support/ Assist Sales in customer visits and engagements such as demos, open houses, customer ideation day, roadshows, etc. • Furnish product or raw material information sheet provided by customers for accreditation • Assist Technical Head in technical related tasks as necessary
What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's degree in food technology, Chemistry or a related field. • 5+ years in product management or development in the raw materials industry (food and non-food sectors). • Experience in B2B Sales and product launches. • Strong knowledge of food and non-food raw materials and their applications. • Excellent communication and Sales skills for presenting and promoting products. • Proficient in product management tools and Microsoft Office suit. • Results- oriented, detail-focused, and a strong collaborator. • Innovative and customer driven with a passion for developing new products.
