As  Technical Manager (f/m/d) Global Security Technologies, you will play a central role in defining, managing and harmonizing Siemens' security technology standards globally. Reporting to the Head of Security, you will ensure that Siemens Real Estate (SRE) achieves compliance, fosters standardization and implements innovative solutions that enhance physical and technical security systems, while also supporting global and local teams across diverse regions.

You’ll make an impact by

  • Developing Global Security Practices:
    • Define and maintain technical security policies and procedures for Siemens Real Estate (SRE).
    • Establish a global Technical Standards, ensuring consistent installations and remedial actions across all Siemens locations
    • Focus on the application of automation and AI based functionality to RE digital systems
    • Identify trusted security vendors and integrators to ensure reliable operations across Siemens' physical and technical systems.
    • Supervise key services for access control (SCAC), ID card supply and the application of video (CCTV) technology.
    • Ensure compliance and reliable systems for development projects (DP), including integration with existing SRE standards.
  • Driving Strategic Innovation:
    • Oversee proof of concepts and pilot installations for emerging technologies.
    • Define best-fit technologies and architectures to address diverse end-user requirements.
    • Foster the adoption and deployment of optimized security technologies across global sites.
  • Building Relationships & Collaboration:
    • Act as a technical voice for customers, advocating key product evolutions while aligning with corporate and local requirements.
    • Support integrators and AM/DP colleagues during technical installations and concept development.
    • Collaborate with Siemens Smart Infrastructure (SI) and end-users to deliver seamless functionality.
  • Global Travel & Deployment:
    • Travel worldwide to monitor and support projects, ensuring consistent standards and effective implementations.
    • Provide technical training modules to empower local SRE teams.

This is how you'll win us over

  • Education:
    • A bachelor's degree or vocational training in Computer Science, Information Technology, Security Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, PMP) are highly desirable.
  • Experience & Skills:
    • Proven, longstanding experience in technical leadership within global security organizations.
    • Expertise in access control systems, video surveillance management, Intrusion Detection, Digital Visitor Management and integration planning.
    • Demonstrated ability to create and enforce technical standards and maintain compliance across regions.
    • In-depth knowledge of security product architectures, installation practices, and governing frameworks.
    • Proficiency in Proof of Concept evaluations, vendor management, technical documentation, and training module development.
  • Ways of working:
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

    • Proactive collaboration across multi-site environments, with strong stakeholder engagement.

  • Languages: Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. German is an advantage.
