Technical Manager, Customer Service (full time)

The Customer Service Technical Manager leads the development and continuous improvement of programs that support the safe and reliable operation of Linde Canada’s bulk customer Installation. This person is responsible to proactively identify gaps and/or opportunities in existing programs as they relate to corporate standards and policies, industry best practices, national or provincial requirements and, with the support of region management and senior leadership, effectively develop and implement corrective actions.

This role is a great blend of process safety, maintenance, and compliance leadership. You'd be the go-to person for ensuring our safety and reliability programs are effective and continuously improving. You'd oversee key process including Safety & Compliance programs, Installation drawing updates, Management of Change (MOC), and Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), making sure the site stays safe, compliant, and up to date.

What you will enjoy doing*

• A big part of the role is acting as the chief inspector for supply system installations in the province of Alberta
• You'll lead and participate in root cause investigations when incidents or issues occur, helping identify improvements and prevent future recurrence
• On the maintenance side, you'd manage our maintenance systems (EAM) and oversee compliance programs for critical equipment like pressure vessels and pressure relief devices
• You'll serve as a key link between corporate and site operations, communicating technical directives, supporting audits and assessments, and helping ensure our Canadian facilities meet company and regulatory standards
• Training and development are also important. You'll create and deliver training for customer service teams on maintenance, compliance, and process safety programs while providing leadership and coaching to our regions

What makes you great*

• The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, ideally with a bachelor's degree in engineering, who can bring both technical expertise and leadership to the team
• You'll bring 8+ years of experience in engineering, operations, or maintenance, preferably within air separation, CO₂, or industrial gas operations
• You'll need a solid understanding of industrial gas Supply systems and equipment, as this role supports both operational reliability and process safety initiatives
• Success in the role requires someone who is a self-starter, comfortable taking ownership, and able to lead or contribute to cross-functional projects
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are key, as you'll work closely with operations, maintenance, corporate teams, and external stakeholders
• We're looking for someone who can drive high-priority issues to resolution with urgency, accountability, and integrity, while keeping safety and reliability at the forefront
• Overall, it's a great fit for someone who combines technical depth, leadership capability, and strong communication skills and is excited to make a broad impact across the business

This is an existing position with a starting annual salary of $100,000 - $110,000
