Job Description

The Position

Are you a veterinarian with strong technical expertise and a customer‑oriented mindset, ready to drive scientific excellence, build key stakeholder partnerships, and lead a high‑performing team in companion animal health?

The Technical Manager, Companion Animal is responsible for the collection, analysis, and provision of relevant scientific information for the Operating Unit (OPU) and key stakeholders. The role builds and maintains a broad network of relationships with international and local key opinion leaders (KOLs), while providing technical services to key customers and supporting and training technical colleagues within the country.

In addition, the role coaches distributors, ensuring goal clarity and clear tactical direction to drive strong performance.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of OPU Companion Animal strategy in collaboration with the Business Segment Head and Regional OPU Technical Manager
  • Provide technical support to colleagues and key customers, including resolution of escalated technical issues
  • Support product launch processes and provide in-depth technical training and consultation on assigned product(s) and disease area(s)
  • Initiate, coordinate, and follow up on field trials within the country
  • Assist in developing marketing strategies and brand plans for assigned product(s)
  • Contribute to Key Account Management
  • Attend, contribute to, and organize internal and external meetings and congresses related to assigned product(s) and disease areas

About Our Future Employee

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or bachelor’s degree in veterinary science; advanced degree (e.g., PhD) is an advantage
  • Two to three years of experience in veterinary clinics or Animal Health industry
  • In-depth technical knowledge of relevant clinical areas and companion animal health
  • Strong business mindset with high integrity and ethical standards
  • Strong analytical ability and communication skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work autonomously
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
