Job Description: An international construction company with active projects in Jordan is looking for a Technical Manager to lead its technical engineering function for structural rehabilitation and strengthening works. Lead structural condition assessments and site investigations for existing structures Independently develop CFRP strengthening designs, including calculations and layouts Develop repair methodologies for concrete restoration, crack injection, and corrosion protection Design waterproofing and leak-rectification solutions for active and completed structures Review and support PT tendon rehabilitation methodology and specialist proposals Prepare and review technical submittals (calculations, method statements, shop drawings) Provide technical support and inspections during site execution Represent the company in technical meetings with Clients and Consultants Identify Value Engineering opportunities without compromising structural performance Build and develop the internal Technical Engineering team Requirements Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering 5+ years of experience in structural/technical engineering roles Demonstrated CFRP strengthening design experience (calculations, detailing, submissions) Strong background in concrete restoration and structural rehabilitation Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ACI, EN 1504, ASTM) Strong leadership and client/consultant coordination skills Proven ability to prepare technically defensible engineering submissions UAE and/or Jordan project experience preferred
