Job Description

We are recruiting for a Technical Maintenance Manager on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in Klang.

The Technical Maintenance Manager will provide leadership and technical expertise, ensuring that the factorys equipment and facilities operate efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the maintenance teams activities and ensure tasks are aligned with operational goals.
  • Supervise repairs, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and implement best practices to reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with Production and Quality Departments to resolve technical issues quickly.
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for key systems (e.g., ventilation, fire protection, utilities).
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, maintain accurate maintenance records, and provide engineering support across departments.

Requirements:

  • Education Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
  • Experience 10+ years in manufacturing maintenance/factory/production, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Skills Needed:

  • Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and technical skills, particularly with mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a solid understanding of continuous improvement and maintenance processes.
  • MUST HAVE prior maintenance experience in manufacturing/factory/production set up

This role is ideal for someone who combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic oversight in maintenance management

  • Lunch is provided by company
  • This is a 6 day/week job Monday to Saturday 8am-445pm
