An exciting opportunity exists in the new Service Centre in Ghana where you will be responsible for the w/shop execution functions, apply now to potentially become part of the growth story in West Africa.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall engineering function of the w/shop.
  • Ensures components are built / refurbished according to FLS specifications and good engineering practices
  • Manages & maintains all tooling, vehicles and equipment as required
  • Maintains a high level of cleanliness and order in the workplace
  • New component builds
  • Owns the technical data
  • Manage builds from planning to shipment
  • Manages the team and all deliverables as required
  • Refurbishments / repairs
  • Prepares reports on components that were assessed and produces costing for refurbishment purposes
  • Does QC on all work received and dispatched from the facility
  • Responds to breakdowns and work overtime as required to meet customer timelines

What you bring

  • Min 5-year Supervisory experience in Mechanical Fitting Workshop (Compulsory).
  • Qualified Artisan, Technician or Engineer (Compulsory).
  • Experience in costing repair jobs
  • Own Transport (Compulsory).
  • KPI driven work ethic
  • Customer-focused
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • OSHA knowledge (ISO standards pertaining to a workshop).
  • Proven track record of leading a team with an exceptional HSE culture
  • IT skills i.e., MS office, ERP’s, etc.
