As a Technical Leader in Advanced Systems Engineering, you sit at the intersection of long-range technology strategy and day-to-day engineering execution. You will oversee the full range of Advanced Systems activities — including GE Vernova's Multigeneration Technology Plan (MGTP), the New Technology Introduction (NTI) portfolio, and next-generation turbine conceptual design — working closely alongside the Advanced Systems leader to ensure all streams are coordinated, current, and moving forward.
Roles and Responsibilities
Own the NTI and continuous improvement (CIP) processes — develop best practices, drive their adoption across the portfolio, and ensure consistent, high-quality execution from initiation through transition.
Coordinate major technology initiatives end-to-end: track on-time and on-budget delivery, manage key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive validation and verification activities including system-level testing.
Support portfolio management alongside the Advanced Systems leader — contributing to engineering excellence program management, program operations, and milestone reviews.
Serve as the primary interface between the Advanced Systems team and subsystem engineering teams — facilitating collaboration, supporting critical-to-quality (CTQ) and risk trade studies, and guiding NTI transition planning.
Contribute to the MGTP — help maintain high-quality technology roadmaps, coordinate regular updates, and provide relevant input to the annual Long-Term Strategy (LTS) process.
Support conceptual design activities, external project coordination, and technical assessments across parallel Advanced Systems workstreams.

We're looking for a technically rigorous engineer with a collaborative approach and a track record of seeing complex technology programs through to successful outcomes.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required for this role
Demonstrated experience leading technology development programs, including successful transitions from development into product (New Product Introduction or equivalent)
Experience in wind turbine systems design, including first-level loads analysis and value trade-off studies
Project management experience, with the ability to manage scope, schedule, and stakeholder alignment simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical content clearly to diverse audiences
