Create your best future and join Westpac as a Technical Lead, Oracle EBS Payroll
What’s the role?
As a Technical Lead, you will drive the payroll transformation initiative from a technology perspective, supporting the migration from Oracle EBS to a modern cloud-based payroll platform. You will act as a trusted partner to both business and architecture teams, leading technical analysis, shaping future-state designs, and guiding vendor selection while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
Additionally, you’ll work closely with HR, payroll SMEs, and key stakeholders across digital services, architecture, and transformation programs. You will lead discovery and design activities, develop technology-aligned RFP artefacts, and provide solution assessments, feasibility insights, and integration design to support decision-making across the program.
You will lead the technology workstream through discovery and design phases, support documentation of current and future state processes, collaborate with architecture and business teams, leverage AI-assisted tools for analysis and documentation, and contribute to payroll-related BAU initiatives and transformation outcomes.
