Technical Lead – Modern Workplace (Hybrid – Brussels)

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead – Modern Workplace to support the evolution, stability, and optimization of a large-scale digital workplace environment within a complex enterprise setting.

The role combines deep technical expertise with hands-on leadership, focusing on Microsoft 365, cloud technologies, security, and hybrid workplace solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Provide technical leadership and guidance for Modern Workplace solutions
• 
  Design, implement, and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Office 365, Entra ID, and collaboration platforms
• 
  Act as the technical reference point for complex incidents, changes, and improvement initiatives
• 
  Support and coach team members on best practices and technical challenges
• 
  Ensure the stability, consistency, security, and performance of end-user workplace solutions
• 
  Contribute to technical standards, guidelines, and reference architectures
• 
  Integrate Modern Workplace services with existing IT systems and infrastructure
• 
  Support hybrid and remote working initiatives (NWOW/HWOW)
• 
  Participate in projects through technical reviews, solution design, and implementation support
• 
  Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
• 
  Monitor technology trends and continuously improve workplace solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• 
  Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Architecture or Technology Lead roles
• 
  Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience with Modern Workplace and End-User Solutions
• 
  Strong expertise in:
  • 
    Microsoft 365 / Office 365
  • 
    Entra ID
  • 
    Collaboration and digital workplace solutions
  • 
    Cloud technologies (Azure)
  • 
    Identity, RBAC, endpoint security, and cybersecurity concepts
• 
  Experience supporting hybrid and remote working environments
• 
  Experience in project-driven environments, including design reviews and technical decision-making
• 
  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• 
  Ability to mentor colleagues and transfer technical knowledge
• 
  Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset

Languages

• 
  Dutch or French: Native or equivalent level
• 
  Good passive knowledge of the second national language
• 
  English: Active knowledge
