We are seeking a Technical Lead - Endpoint Management (VDI) to join our team and support our client. The ideal candidate is a technically versatile engineering leader with strong experience supporting enterprise endpoint environments, virtualization, and modern device management. This individual is energized by solving complex technical challenges, improving operational efficiency, and helping teams deliver secure, reliable support at scale.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead endpoint management and VDI-related activities within Tier 3 back-end support and engineering operations.
  • Support software delivery, customization, local computer security, permissions settings, and virtual desktop infrastructure services.
  • Guide technical integration, testing, change management, and configuration activities across endpoint and back-end environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to improve endpoint stability, user experience, and supportability.
  • Support lifecycle management, capacity planning, asset provisioning, and root cause analysis activities tied to endpoint services.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and process improvements that strengthen delivery quality.

Work Experience and Job Skills:

  • Strong experience supporting enterprise endpoint management, virtual desktop infrastructure, and back-end engineering services.
  • Knowledge of systems integration, technical change management, configuration management, and enterprise support tools.
  • Experience supporting software delivery, desktop engineering, and operational improvements in large IT environments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and technical leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required. Preferred field of study in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study.
  • MBA/Master's Degree in a relevant field of study preferred.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

  • Desired certifications may include Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, ITIL, or related certifications aligned with endpoint management and virtual infrastructure support.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to present proposals and performance data, comfortable interfacing all levels of organization.
  • Ability to write clear and concise creative content in a highly confidential manner.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Travel:

  • Local travel within a 50-mile radius of NIH Bethesda, Maryland is not reimbursable.
  • On occasion, travel may be required of Contractor personnel and, if approved in advance by the Contracting Officer, may be reimbursed in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
  • Work may be performed at Government facilities, remote locations, or approved employee work locations in support of Government operations.

Environmental Requirements:

  • Mainly a routine office environment.
  • May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds
  • Flexible in working extended hours
