Job Summary

8+ Years Summary: You will define the Frontend Strategy for the enterprise. You are responsible for standardization, tooling choices, and bridging the gap between design and engineering.

We are seeking a Full Stack Lead / Technical Architect to define and drive the technical vision of our web platforms. You will act as the bridge between backend engineers, frontend teams, UX designers, and DevOps, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design System: Architect and maintain a shared "Component Library" (Storybook) to ensure UI consistency across all apps.
• Strategy: Decide on the tech stack changes (e.g., migrating from Webpack to Vite, or adopting Micro-Frontends).
• Micro-Frontends: Design the architecture to split monolithic frontend apps into smaller, deployable remotes (using Module Federation).
• Collaboration: Work with the Java Spring Leads to define API contracts (Swagger/OpenAPI) that are frontend-friendly.
• Quality: Establish automated testing strategies (End-to-End testing with Cypress or Playwright).

Technical Strategy & Architecture

• Define end-to-end architecture for frontend, backend, and deployment
• Evaluate and select frameworks, libraries, databases, and cloud services
• Drive contract-first API design and versioning strategies
• Define standards, guidelines, and architectural guardrails

Backend & System Design

• Architect distributed systems using Java 8+/17 & Spring Boot
• Define microservices, event-driven, or modular monolith architectures
• Design secure systems using OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, TLS
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and resilience

Frontend Architecture

• Define scalable frontend architecture using React & TypeScript
• Decide between CSR, SSR, SSG (React vs Next.js)
• Establish design systems and shared component libraries
• Drive frontend performance, accessibility, and SEO standards

Cloud, DevOps & Platform Engineering

• Lead cloud adoption and modernization (AWS/Azure/GCP/Oracle Cloud)
• Define containerization and orchestration strategy (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and release governance
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
• Drive observability: logging, metrics, tracing, alerting

Leadership & Governance

• Provide technical leadership across multiple teams
• Mentor senior and junior engineers
• Conduct architecture reviews and resolve cross-team technical issues
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders on roadmap planning

Skill Requirements

• Architectural mastery of Modern Web Development.
• Experience building and maintaining Design Systems / Component Libraries.
• Strong leadership in Micro-Frontend architecture.
• Deep understanding of Browser Rendering and Web Vitals (Core Web Vitals).
• Experience integrating Frontend with Identity Providers (Okta, Keycloak).

Required Skills (Must-Have)

• Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful systems
• Strong frontend architecture experience with React & TypeScript
• Proven experience designing cloud-native, distributed systems
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD
• Strong understanding of security, networking, and performance
• Experience leading and influencing multiple teams

Nice to Have / Value Add

• Micro-frontend architecture (Module Federation)
• Event streaming platforms (Kafka)
• Observability tooling (like Grafana)
