Job Summary

SAP BO Developer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing BusinessObjects universes and reports, including multi-source universes, to support business intelligence and reporting needs. The role involves working with multiple data sources, understanding data models, and delivering scalable reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and BI solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain multi-source universes using Information Design Tool (IDT).
• Identify and integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, cubes, and external systems.
• Analyze underlying data structures, including tables, joins, relationships, and cardinality.
• Develop and enhance SAP BO universes by adding objects, joins, and data elements.
• Create and modify Web Intelligence (WebI) reports, ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
• Perform unit testing and ensure data accuracy through validation and integrity checks.
• Optimize universe and report performance for efficient query execution
• Support UAT and production issues, ensuring timely resolution
• Document universe design, technical specifications, and reporting logic
