Job Description

Job Title: Technical Integration Specialist

Location: Southport (hybrid)

About the Role:

The primary focus for this role is to support our B2B and D2C sales teams with the onboarding of new partners using our existing API integrations and support existing partners migrate where required. It is typical for this role to necessitate direct collaboration with our partners' development teams, ensuring optimal results for all parties involved.

The hands-on knowledge you develop whilst supporting our partners you will then be utilised to improve our API documentation and work with our internal development teams to further develop our APIs to ensure they are robust and meet our partners requirements.

The Technical Integration Specialist will also serve as the primary contact for all matters related to APIs and system integrations. The expectation is for this role to be capable of swiftly and effectively resolving both internal and external inquiries pertaining to these matters, with the support of our development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and suggesting process and technology opportunities to improve the speed and efficiency of integrations.
  • Working with our sales team to provide technical expertise and monitor partner feedback for areas of improvement.
  • Providing technical integration support directly to our external partners.
  • Supporting critical and highly complex partner integration initiatives; driving the development and implementation of an effective, consistent and repeatable partner development programme.
  • Assisting the digital product owner in defining the strategy, solution and evolution of data interchange between systems as new relationships are introduced and product evolve.

About you:

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience working hands-on with a variety of API integrations.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and mapping techniques between disparate systems.
  • Knowledge of technical writing principles and practices.
  • Collaborative thinker with an ability to learn new things, assess problems, and identify proactive solutions quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as confidence in leading customer project calls.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Experience

  • BFSI experience
  • Project management experience within an agile environment.
