Technical Integration Manager1

Key Responsibilities

Program & Delivery Management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise integration projects using Boomi and/or Workato platforms.
  • Manage multiple concurrent integration programs involving SaaS, cloud, on-premise, APIs, EDI, and data integrations.
  • Drive project planning, estimation, resource management, risk mitigation, and delivery governance.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations.
  • Conduct status reviews, steering committee meetings, and executive-level reporting.

Integration Solution Leadership

  • Provide oversight on integration architecture, design patterns, API-led connectivity, and reusable framework adoption.
  • Guide teams on best practices related to integrations, APIs, error handling, monitoring, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and application teams to define integration strategies.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise integration standards and governance processes.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary customer-facing leader for integration engagements.
  • Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Manage customer expectations, escalations, and delivery commitments effectively.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, solution walkthroughs, and UAT coordination.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor onsite/offshore integration teams including architects, developers, analysts, and QA resources.
  • Drive technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support team capability development through mentoring, reviews, and training initiatives.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish delivery governance, KPIs, SLAs, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Ensure proper documentation, testing processes, deployment controls, and support transition activities.
  • Drive automation, reusable assets, accelerators, and integration CoE initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Boomi and/or Workato integration platforms.
  • Expertise in REST/SOAP APIs, web services, JSON, XML, and API security standards.
  • Experience with integration patterns including event-driven, batch, real-time, and file-based integrations.
  • Strong understanding of cloud and SaaS applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow, etc.
  • Experience with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with middleware governance, monitoring, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

Management Skills

  • Proven experience managing large-scale integration implementation programs.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing distributed onsite/offshore delivery teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to manage customer escalations and drive resolution effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Boomi Professional/Architect certifications and/or Workato certifications preferred.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are a plus.
  • Experience working in consulting or system integration organizations preferred.
