General Summary

Works in direct collaboration with Technical Instructional Design Specialist(s) to update and maintain education materials, and to support end users with the use of Epic and IT supported applications. Key expectations of this role include facilitating assigned system-wide educational services/programs for in person and virtual training sessions, providing real time end-user support, and creating and maintaining end user training materials. Continually assesses impact of training and provides feedback to improve end user outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitates assigned system-wide educational services/programs for in person and virtual training sessions including, but not limited to: New Hire Training; Staff Transition Training; Remediation Training; and Go-Live Training.
  • Provides real time end-user support including, but not limited to: on site rounding; immersion visits; new implementations/Go-Live support; and tickets, telephone support, and email support.
  • Under guidance, creates and maintains end user training materials, utilizing applications such as Adobe Captivate, Audacity, and Microsoft Office Suite. Training materials include, but are not limited to: Instructor guides; eLearnings/Videos; Exercise books; Tip Sheets/Quick Start Guides.
  • Provides feedback to appropriate stakeholders including, but not limited to: Site specific feedback; Process improvement feedback; and Instructional feedback.

  • Supports and advances system goals and initiatives while adhering to the WellSpan values.
  • Trains (facilitates or is proficient) on multiple platforms and applications using various methods of instruction.
  • Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.

Travel Requirements:

  • Estimated Amount: 10% - May be required to travel to WellSpan Facilities for on-site support, Go-Lives, and/or Immersion visits. A valid license and/or reliable transportation is required. The employee is ultimately responsible for transportation to support sites.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Bachelors Degree Preferred

Work Experience:

  • 3 years Relevant experience Required

Courses and Training:

  • Completion of application training and “train the trainer” course and successful completion of all assessments with a minimum score of 85% and successful presentation of a lesson to a panel of Epic-qualified experts within 60 days Required – This training is delivered by the application Principal trainer(s) within 60 days Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Assignment may require knowledge of computer software and operations.
  • Duties will include problem solving, decision making, trouble shooting, critical thinking, and collaboration with all stakeholders.
