Reporting to the Operations Development Manager (Technical Innovations) you will support the implementation and delivery of new and future Technology to the company during an exciting period of substantial growth, business and cultural transformation aligned to the business objectives.
Supporting technical innovations and advancements occurring in the VGRRR industry and delivery. The role requires an overarching knowledge of the vehicle industry, with a strong focus on awareness to current and future technology within glass fitting / diagnostics and Re-calibration, the Belron® Way of Fitting and Belron® Way of Training and Belron Way of Calibration. This will involve influencing internal and possibly external operational teams supporting a high level of engagement in future technology building a culture of establishing 100% compliance.
There will be a reliance to develop and drive a continuous improvement culture to stakeholders internally or externally to the future standards in order that customer demands are exceeded, and Autoglass maintains the technical advantage as leaders within the sector.
As a Technical Innovations Trainer, you will have a passion for designing and delivering training that will support the delivery of future technical innovations and ensure material is aligned with our Learning Principles to new and existing colleagues, working closely with Technical Trainers and our Technical Help Desk in the field to establish a robust mentoring program in order to transfer the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to uphold our status as industry leaders distinguished by our standards and quality. You will be a champion of future technology.
The role will work in close collaboration within the Development Managers responsible for Product Innovations and Operational Process.
We will be able to tangibly measure the successful impact of your contribution to the Technical Training & Quality Team using business MI and colleague engagement feedback. A focus on the maximising our ADAS solution using the most cost-effective processes.
Our team requires flexibility when supporting the technicians whether that is driving/travelling to different sites or by your approach to planning and reacting to the demands from the business.
Our business is transforming so team members will need to be able to work collaboratively or on their own initiative engaging with others in the Technical Training & Quality Team to deliver agile training solutions so to meet the requirements of our business.
