At Babcock, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. We’re looking for a Technical Information Engineer to join our Land business within DSG – Through Life Equipment Support, based at Donnington with hybrid working.
This role sits at the heart of Technical Services, ensuring technical documents and Approved Source Information (ASI) are accurately controlled, assessed, and communicated so engineering activity remains safe, compliant, and effective.
The role
Reporting to the Technical Quality Lead Engineer, you’ll manage the receipt, control, assessment, and issue of technical documentation. You’ll work with Design Authorities, OEMs, the MoD, and internal engineering teams to assess change impact and communicate technical updates that influence safety, manufacture, and use of equipment.

This is a full‑time, permanent role (37 hours, Monday–Friday) with agile working, and a minimum of three days per week onsite to support collaboration.

Qualifications for the Technical Information Engineer:
Completed a relevant technical or vocational qualification (e.g. Advanced Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3) or equivalent experience.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
