Technical Expert — Lab‑as‑a‑Service, Hardware Validation

Role Purpose (Executive Summary)

Own the go‑to‑market and technical stewardship of Lab‑as‑a‑Service offerings focused on hardware validation (EMC, Reliability, EMS, Certifications). Combine deep validation know‑how with senior B2B marketing leadership to design compelling value propositions, build pipeline, convert enterprise customers, and ensure delivery excellence and compliance across engagements.

Key Responsibilities

1) Marketing & Growth (5+ Years Seniority)

  • Positioning & Messaging: Craft differentiated narratives (speed‑to‑validation, compliance readiness, TCO benefits, flexible capacity). Build vertical‑specific value stories (e.g., automotive, industrial, consumer, medical, avionics).
  • Sales Enablement: Create battlecards, case studies, ROI/TCO calculators, solution briefs, and proposal templates. Coach sales on technical discovery and objection handling.
  • Strategic Accounts: Engage engineering leaders; lead technical discovery, pilot constructs, SoW creation, and quote negotiations
  • Brand & Thought Leadership: Represent the lab at conferences and standards bodies; publish whitepapers and benchmarks; cultivate analyst/press relationships.

1) Technical (Hardware Validation & Delivery Excellence)

  • Solutioning & Scoping: Translate customer requirements into validation scopes (env. & reliability, EMC/EMI, safety, performance, regulatory, lifecycle testing, automated test frameworks). Define test coverage, acceptance criteria, sample sizes, and timelines.
  • Method Development: Optimize test throughput and First‑Pass‑Yield.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechatronics (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in B2B technical marketing, product marketing, or growth roles.
    • Hands‑on hardware validation/testing or test engineering leadership (can overlap).
  • Standards & Compliance: Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, NABL accreditation processes, and domain regulations (e.g., IEC/UL/EN, CISPR, ISO 26262, IEC 60601, etc. as relevant).
  • Tools/Tech: Proficiency with test instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers, environmental chambers), DAQ, automated test frameworks (LabVIEW, Python), and CRM/marketing platforms (Salesforce/HubSpot, Marketo, Power BI).

Core Competencies

  • Technical Depth: System‑level understanding of electronics validation, test design, measurement uncertainty, and data integrity.
  • Commercial Acumen: Market analysis, segmentation, ICP definition, pricing strategy, and partner ecosystems.
  • Communication: Executive‑ready storytelling, technical writing, and negotiation.
  • Leadership: Cross‑functional influence (sales, engineering, quality, finance), vendor management, and change management.
  • Customer Obsession: VOC capture, journey mapping, and NPS/CSAT improvement.
