Kaizen Approach is currently seeking a Technical Expert to provide Tier 4 high performance computing support to NSAW and UDC sites. In this role, you will deliver advanced technical expertise to resolve complex HPC issues and sustain mission-critical computing environments. You will oversee troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution activities to ensure continued operational availability of HPC systems. This position involves supporting highly specialized environments that require deep technical knowledge and rapid problem resolution. You will work in a secure environment supporting critical mission objectives.
Requirements:
• Must have the ability to configure, tune, test, and provide advanced-level troubleshooting and support for high-performance file systems including XFS, GPFS, and Lustre.
• Must possess the ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and operational support for HPC farm systems and associated applications such as Nagios, xCAT, failover software, and compilers.
• Must be capable of applying working knowledge of high performance computing massively parallel processing (MPP) systems to support complex compute environments.
• Must have the ability to configure, tune, test, and provide advanced-level troubleshooting and support for distributed computing and workload management tools including RES, LSF, and SLURM.
• Must possess the ability to configure, tune, test, and perform advanced troubleshooting of Red Hat and SUSE Linux operating systems in HPC environments.
• Must be capable of supporting end-to-end HPC system operations by integrating file systems, operating systems, schedulers, and supporting applications into a stable and optimized environment.
• Must have the ability to diagnose and resolve complex, multi-layer HPC issues through advanced system analysis, performance tuning, and structured troubleshooting techniques.
• Must have ten (10) years of experience providing industry- and government-recognized functional expertise in a large and complex IT environment, or fifteen (15) years of relevant experience if a degree is not held.
• Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or fifteen (15) years of relevant experience if a degree is not held.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.

A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
