We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Expert - Electrical to join our team in Gqeberha, South Africa. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance and support for our electrical systems and projects.

  • Design and develop electrical systems and controls for industrial applications
  • Analyze complex electrical engineering problems and provide innovative solutions
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize electrical system performance
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide expert advice on electrical engineering projects
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for electrical systems and processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in a timely manner
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical technologies and industry trends
  • Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers and technicians
  • Participate in project planning and execution to ensure electrical system requirements are met

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
  • Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems
  • Expertise in automation technologies
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
