We’re looking for a Technical Executive to provide national leadership across our Geotechnical & Tunnels business, bringing deep technical expertise, trusted client relationships, and the ability to influence major outcomes on high-profile projects.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a true technical leadership role where your expertise defines standards, mentors future leaders, and helps drive the strategic direction of one of Australia’s leading geotechnical teams.

What you’ll do

  • Provide technical leadership and assurance across major geotechnical & engineering geology projects
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on complex ground engineering challenges
  • Lead and review ground models, investigations, and advanced analyses
  • Influence strategy, innovation, and technical excellence across the business
  • Mentor and develop senior engineers and engineering geologists nationally
  • Support winning work through technical input on proposals and client engagement

About you

You’re recognised for your technical depth and influence within the industry. You combine strong judgement with a collaborative leadership style and are trusted to guide complex decisions.

You’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience in geotechnical engineering or engineering geology consulting
  • Demonstrated involvement in major infrastructure projects (transport, tunnelling, energy or similar)
  • Expertise in ground investigation, interpretation, and design
  • Strong capability in technical review, governance and risk management
  • A track record of building client relationships and influencing outcomes
  • A passion for mentoring and developing others
  • Chartered status (CPEng or equivalent) will be highly regarded.
