[What the role is]

The appointee must have good interpersonal skills, willing to learn on
the job and be a team player. He/She must undertake duties that support the smooth functioning of the School and School’s labs, provide support to academic staff in teaching as well as supervising students in their project works whilst ensuring safety regulations are followed.

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:
• Provide technical assistance and support for lab operations
• Ensure Staff and students adhere to safety procedures and be properly attired
• Ensure that equipment and machines are in working order and are safe for operations
• Planning and ordering of raw materials for Lab/FYP use
• Liaise with Estates Dept for related service request pertaining to lab facilities
• Attend to asset management activities including asset write off and disposal, asset verification, storage
• Planning for machine and equipment maintenance

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• 2-3 years' hands-on experiences working in the Mechanical Engineering - Materials and Testing Industry. Examples include Tensile test, Impact test, NDT and Heat Treatment.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
