The Facility Executive - Technical Services is responsible for overseeing the technical operations, maintenance, and engineering functions of assigned facilities. This role ensures optimal performance of building systems, compliance with regulations, and delivery of high-quality technical services to meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Operations Management Oversee day-to-day technical operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building automation systems. Ensure all building systems operate efficiently and reliably to support business operations and occupant comfort.

Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for all critical building systems. Coordinate corrective maintenance activities and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain service continuity.

Vendor and Contractor Management Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance against service level agreements, and ensure quality delivery of outsourced technical services.

Compliance and Safety Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards, and statutory requirements. Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance and identify improvement opportunities.

Budget and Cost Management Prepare and manage technical services budgets including capital expenditure and operational costs. Identify cost optimization opportunities while maintaining service quality standards.

Team Leadership Lead and develop technical teams including engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff. Provide training, performance management, and technical guidance to ensure team effectiveness.

Client Relationship Management Serve as primary technical point of contact for clients. Understand client requirements, address concerns promptly, and deliver regular performance reports demonstrating value and service quality.

Project Management Oversee technical projects including system upgrades, retrofits, and capital improvement initiatives. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.

Energy and Sustainability Implement energy management programs and sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact and operational costs. Monitor energy consumption and identify efficiency improvement opportunities.

Documentation and Reporting Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, system performance, incidents, and compliance documentation. Prepare regular management reports on facility performance and key metrics.

Required Qualifications

Education Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical discipline.

Experience Minimum 5-7 years of experience in facility management or technical services, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role managing technical operations for commercial, corporate, or industrial facilities.

Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of building systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, building automation systems (BMS), and energy management systems. Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Skills Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities. Proficiency in facility management software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
