Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Event Producer & Spatial Designer to take the helm of our event's technical execution and spatial planning. In this highly versatile role, you will bridge the gap between high-level event technology and meticulous physical venue design. Your focus is on developing these areas of Nordic Business Forum to the next level and possibly also for some of the other events within the Business Forum Group

As the architectural eye of our production, you will use your advanced Vectorworks skills to draft detailed venue layouts, furnishing plans, and stage/lighting designs. Beyond the drafting board, you will choose our AV suppliers, manage critical technical partnerships, and ensure the physical event space—from the overarching decor to furnishing—looks world-class and operates flawlessly.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Spatial & Technical Drafting: Act as our in-house Vectorworks expert, creating comprehensive 2D/3D layout plans, detailed furnishing arrangements, and essential stage and lighting designs.
  • AV & Tech Leadership: Oversee all event audio-visual technology. You will lead the AV team on-site and choose our technical providers and vendors.
  • Venue & Decor Management: Contribute to the physical attendee experience by managing venue layouts, interior decor, and furnishing logistics to meet NBF's premium standards. You need to also understand the basics of people flow, emergency exit legislation and evacuation planning.

Who You Are:

You are a rare hybrid of a technical project manager and a spatial designer. You understand the complex logistics of large-scale corporate events, know how to communicate technical requirements to AV vendors, and can sit down to draw up the exact floor plans and stage plots needed to make it happen.

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, a humble eagerness to learn and develop, and a genuine interest in leadership and business events.
  • Advanced Vectorworks proficiency to draft venue layouts, furnishing plans, and stage/lighting designs.
  • Solid experience with large-scale event audio-visual technology.
  • Leadership skills in order to direct our on-site AV teams.
  • Fluency in English, with good written and verbal communication skills.
