The Technical Engineer works under general supervision, reviewed at project milestones and on
completion. The Technical Engineer assists in overseeing the Technical selection of suitable project
materials, ensuring fill compliance with project and Local Authority specification requirements.
Provide technical support to design teams, assisting in the development and refinement of engineering designs and plans.
Conduct technical analysis and calculations to ensure the feasibility, safety, and efficiency of proposed designs and solutions.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to identify errors, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Analyze design challenges, troubleshoot technical issues, and propose innovative solutions to overcome obstacles and optimize design performance.
Ensure designs adhere to industry standards, codes, regulations, and best practices, maintaining compliance with applicable requirements.
Assist in prototyping, testing, and validation of design concepts, providing feedback and insights to refine designs and improve functionality.
Manage technical documentation, including design records, test reports, and technical specifications, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers, to integrate technical requirements and considerations into design plans.
Communicate technical concepts and specifications effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, addressing concerns and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of design processes and technical capabilities.
Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies
Understanding of fundamental engineering concepts and principles to support technical analysis and problem-solving.
Ability to conduct technical analysis and calculations, interpret data, and assess design feasibility and performance.
Skills in computer-aided design (CAD) software to create, modify, and review engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Effective communication skills to convey technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including team members and clients.
Strong problem-solving abilities to identify technical issues, propose solutions, and contribute to the resolution of design challenges
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
