TECHNICAL DIRECTOR - HIGH SCHOOL PLAYS - (PER PLAY - 2 PLAYS)
General Description:
To develop in each student an appreciation of music and performing arts.
Qualifications:
Act as a proper role model for all staff and students both in school and outside the district.
Performance Expectations (Essential Functions):
1. Oversee designing and building sets, designing and implementing sound and lighting setups for the shows, and for teaching students the skills needed to execute these tasks.
2. Assist in supervising students at rehearsals, set building, performances and other activities.
3. Maintain an appropriate relationship with students, including use of social media and general communication.
Other Professional Expectations:
Perform other such duties as the Board may direct.
Additional Working Conditions:
Occasional exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and tissue.
Occasional interaction with unruly children.
The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.
In addition, the employee shall be free of any substance, prescribed or otherwise, that impairs the employee's work performance or the safety of other while on duty.
Compensation will be $1,375
