Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Electrical Engineering leader to serve as our Technical Director. You will be the technical authority, driving innovation and leading the delivery of major projects from concept through construction. This role demands a strategic leader with deep expertise in large-scale infrastructure, particularly in rail, metro, and data center projects, and a proven track record in Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary technical lead and verifier for all electrical engineering deliverables.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of electrical engineers.
• Drive innovation and value engineering across projects and proposals.
• Manage multidisciplinary design teams and ensure seamless project coordination.
• Oversee project delivery, including technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Serve as the senior point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer with PEPC qualification.
• Minimum 15 years' experience, with at least 5 recent years in Asia (Southeast Asia preferred).
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., rail, data centers).
• Strong background in construction oversight, testing, and commissioning.
• Proficiency in BIM, Revit, and CAD environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian design codes; regional knowledge is a plus.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills in English
