Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the hiring of new team members and the building of a new development team, when necessary
• Determine what technology is best suited for the project; understand the engine, middleware, and their constraints
• Responsible for all technical architecture, performance and process choices along with leading the Technology Management Office
• Identify technical risks on projects and develop contingency plans to put into place with the team
• Facilitate communication both within and across disciplines
• Identify and promote the application of technical best practices within the studio
• Be a positive leader and mentor for technology teams
  

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience working in games.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership position within a game studio.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, equivalent or proven proficiency with technology architectures.
• Exceptional management and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of programming languages and software engineering practices.
• Proficiency in C#, Unity3D and Unity Asset Store plugins
• Knowledge of Javascript, Web technologies and Unreal Engine a plus
