Location: Orlando, FL | Full Time | Pay Range: $80,055.32 - $96,452.19/YR (Based on experience and qualifications)

What You'll Do

Develop Technical Talent

• Create individualized development plans that strengthen technical skills and leadership capabilities.
• Coach and mentor full-time technicians to support professional growth and long-term career development.
• Provide regular guidance, feedback, and support through performance conversations and development planning.

Lead Training & Workforce Readiness

• Oversee training programs focused on breakout room setup, signal flow, troubleshooting, and client interaction.
• Ensure technicians maintain required technical certifications and stay aligned with company policies.
• Build development initiatives that prepare technicians for increasing responsibility and complexity.

Build Career Progression Pathways

• Partner with operational leaders to create clear growth opportunities for technical team members.
• Align development programs with organizational needs, performance expectations, and future workforce requirements.
• Help technicians understand and pursue advancement opportunities within the organization.

Support Live Event Operations

• Serve as a technical lead for breakout-focused events when needed.
• Model best practices for event execution, problem-solving, and technical support.
• Provide coaching in real-world event environments to reinforce learning and performance standards.

Drive Continuous Improvement

• Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry trends, and evolving best practices.
• Use industry knowledge to enhance training programs and strengthen workforce readiness.
• Identify opportunities to improve technical competency across the organization.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of leadership experience in audiovisual or live event production environments.
• Prior hands-on experience working onsite in a technical event production role.
• Knowledge of breakout room setup, operation, and strike procedures.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting switchers, projectors, and audio systems.
• Ability to coordinate multiple event spaces while supporting clients and technical teams.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing technical professionals.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with event logistics, scheduling, and basic networking concepts.
