We are looking for a Technical Developer/Designer with strong analytical and communication skills, who is not only able to deliver technical solutions but also understands business needs and contributes to shaping them. This role involves designing and developing robust, scalable solutions that support our business objectives and enhance user experience. You’ll be working primarily in a Data Warehouse (DWH) environment contributing to the development and evolution of data pipelines, data models, and reporting solutions and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into high-quality deliverables. You will also take ownership of selected initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders and driving solution design from idea to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications, data pipelines and transformations in Data Warehouse environment using Python and Java.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in order to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create technical specifications and architecture designs.
• Work with data models, ensuring consistency, quality, and performance of stored data.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the development lifecycle.
• Take ownership of specific features or data domains, including responsibility for their evolution and quality.
• Actively participate in defining solution scope, priorities, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
• Support backlog refinement and contribute to prioritization discussions.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in data usage, processes, and system design.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Python and Java development.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases and enterprise DWH platforms, especially PostgreSQL, Teradata, and Oracle.
• Experience with DWH concepts (ETL/ELT, data modeling, data pipelines) and DWH automation
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. GitHub).
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to understand business processes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proactive approach and ownership mindset.
• Good communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies – SAFe
• Experience with data domains (e.g. data management, reporting, analytics) and knowledge of data governance is an advantage.
