Your Role

As a Gensler Technical Designer, you will combine creativity and technical knowledge with a focus on project delivery and an understanding of how to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients. You will drive the delivery of a project, collaborate with office and regional technical leaders, and develop delivery and process improvement strategies. What You Will Do

  • Participate inthe creative efforts of multiple interior architecture and interior design teamsfor workplace (office)projects from theinitialmarketing stages through construction administration

  • In collaboration with a team,contribute tooverall design concepts,storytellingand design presentation strategies

  • Participate in theselectionand presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and decorative lighting

  • Support generatingconcepts for finish plans, RCP, lighting plans, specifications, material selections, and millwork for the project

  • Be a fearless integrator and advocate for diverse points of view and expansive thinking

  • Understand and support Gensler’sresiliencegoals

  • Build andmaintainclient relationships; interface with clients, team members, and a wide range of consultants and collaborators, both internal and external

  • Creatively align solutions to budgets

  • Integratenew technologyand tools on projects (AR, VR, computational design, etc.)

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accreditedprogram

  • 6-10years of diverse interiors experience with an emphasis on workplace interiors

  • Knowledge of the design process,from schematic design through construction administration

  • Experiencecontributing duringall phases of the design process

  • LEED, Fitwell or WELL accreditationis preferred

  • Strong communicationand relationship management skills

  • Strongproficiencywith Revitisrequired;understandingofSketchUp, InDesign,Enscape, Photoshop, and Miro

**The estimated base salary range for this position is $73,000 - 85,000k, plus eligibility for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation is contingent on location and relevant skills,qualificationsand experience.
