As a Junior Technical Designer with Gensler,you’llexplore new ways of solving complex design problems, at both the conceptual level and in the technical realm, crafting solutions with integrated project teams.You are individually driven and have a desire to be part of a team.You understand the importance of every contribution within the project phases and are excited to do your part to make a difference at work and within the community. What You Will Do
Work with project teams in all project phases, including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, constructiondocumentsand implementation
Collaborate with the design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatoryagenciesand other vendors to meet overall project objectives
Develop andparticipatein internal and client presentations
Participate in the construction administration process ensuring the successful delivery of the design intent
Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs
Your Qualifications
Organized, creative, collaborative, and independent withabilityto work on multiple projects at the same time.
Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas
Proficiencyin Revitrequired, and experienceutilizingother digital design tools beyond Revit
Passion for sustainable practices and interest in working towards certification (LEED,FitWell, etc.)
Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Architecturefrom a professionally accredited program
0-5 years of related architecture project experience
