This is a hybrid technical and delivery leadership role, not a traditional project management position. Strategy and Planning

· Convert business priorities and architecture roadmaps into achievable delivery plans, milestones, resource requirements and budgets.

· Define delivery governance, reporting, decision points and acceptance criteria for complex technology initiatives.

· Manage dependencies across enterprise applications, data, integration, infrastructure, cyber security and business teams.

· Provide clear status, risk, financial and decision reporting to senior stakeholders.

Technical Delivery and Assurance

· Lead delivery from discovery and design through build, testing, deployment, transition and stabilization.

· Understand and review application, API, integration, cloud, data, security and DevOps designs at a level sufficient to identify gaps and challenge assumptions.

· Facilitate technical decisions, ensure architecture reviews are completed and track non-functional requirements.

· Drive SIT, UAT, performance, security, cutover, release and production-readiness activities.

· Ensure operational handover includes support models, documentation, monitoring, service levels and knowledge transfer.

Vendor and Team Management

· Lead multidisciplinary internal teams and external delivery partners across regions.

· Validate estimates, plans, technical proposals, resource models and supplier deliverables.

· Manage commercial commitments, delivery performance, risks, issues and corrective actions.

· Build internal delivery capability and reduce avoidable dependency on external suppliers.

· Promote agile, transparent and outcome-based ways of working while applying appropriate delivery controls.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Formal Education & Certification

· Degree or equivalent experience in technology, engineering, information systems or a related discipline.

· PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, SAFe, Scrum, ITIL or relevant cloud certification is desirable.

Knowledge & Experience

· Significant experience delivering enterprise technology programmes or complex digital products.

· Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, integration, application architecture, data platforms, security, DevOps and CI/CD.

· Demonstrated ability to understand solution designs and hold credible technical discussions with architects and engineers.

· Experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, quality and executive stakeholders.

· Experience managing systems integrators, software vendors and distributed delivery teams.

· Experience delivering through agile and structured governance approaches, selecting the right method for the work.

· Knowledge of ERP and customer or service platforms is desirable; Azure experience is essential. Experience working on Azure applications, AI and Azure Fabric Data related projects preferred.

Personal Attributes

· Combines delivery discipline with curiosity and sound technical judgement.

· Confident communicator who can translate between business outcomes and technical decisions.

· Proactive, decisive and comfortable managing ambiguity and competing priorities.

· Constructively challenges teams and suppliers while maintaining collaborative relationships.

· Strong ownership, attention to detail and focus on measurable outcomes.

Work Conditions

· Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for releases and global delivery activities.

· Ability to lead workshops, governance forums, presentations and supplier reviews.

· Some international travel may be required.
