Job Description

You blend different perspectives to generate fresh thinking and ideas.

You know that not all tech and digital roles are the same. Be part of a team that ensures a safe, efficient, integrated transport system that keeps people and goods moving, connects communities and shapes the future of our cities and regions.

In this role, you'll:

You will lead and manage the delivery of technical solutions across multiple virtual teams, ensuring outcomes are aligned with business requirements, enterprise architecture standards, strategic priorities, and organisational delivery expectations.

You will provide thought leadership across technical disciplines, coordinating efforts to ensure technology solutions are delivered to a high standard, efficiently, and in alignment with the broader project and enterprise portfolio.

You will be responsible for leading multi‑stream technical delivery teams and ensuring product development activities are aligned with agreed business requirements, solution designs, and the end‑to‑end software delivery lifecycle. Working closely with architects, cyber security, data, testing, release management, and service management teams.

You will also oversee the domain or portfolio pipeline of work, managing resource and capacity planning to support effective delivery. This includes assessing incoming work, identifying delivery constraints, supporting workforce optimisation, prioritising work packages, and overseeing vendor delivery to ensure outcomes are achieved within agreed timeframes, scope, and quality expectations.
