Job Description

Supports the successful implementation of the OLG Program by monitoring project execution, tracking delivery progress, coordinating customer-facing activities, supporting governance processes and ensuring alignment between customer expectations and project delivery teams.

The role serves as the primary local coordination point between OLG stakeholders, Intralot Canada, and the global delivery teams responsible for implementation.

While project delivery activities are executed by the global delivery organization, this role is responsible for monitoring progress, identifying risks, tracking actions and supporting successful program execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Monitoring & Governance

  • Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones

  • Provide independent delivery assurance by validating progress, identifying delivery gaps and highlighting areas requiring management attention.

  • Track key program deliverables and customer commitments.

  • Maintain project action logs, risks, issues and dependencies.

  • Escalate risks and blockers requiring management attention.

  • Support preparation of executive dashboards and governance reports.

  • Coordinate internal and customer-facing status meetings.

  • Ensure follow-up of agreed actions and decisions.

Delivery Coordination

  • Coordinate interactions between OLG stakeholders and global delivery teams.

  • Support implementation planning, deployment readiness and transition activities.

  • Validate that customer requirements and commitments are properly communicated to delivery teams.

  • Support testing, operational readiness and deployment preparation activities.

  • Assist with Hypercare planning and post-production support coordination.

  • Coordinate delivery activities across internal teams, external partners and customer stakeholders.

  • Monitor third-party commitments and dependencies affecting project delivery.

  • Support customer readiness activities, including planning, training coordination, operational preparedness and transition support.

  • Monitor delivery commitments made by global teams and implementation partners and provide timely escalation when deviations are identified.

  • Monitor overall implementation readiness across project workstreams and provide early warning of gaps that could impact deployment or operational transition.

Customer Engagement

  • Support customer governance meetings and working sessions.

  • Prepare project status reports and executive presentations.

  • Ensure timely communication of project updates and delivery information.

  • Foster strong working relationships with OLG stakeholders.

Program Risk Management

  • Maintain and regularly update the program RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies).

  • Proactively identify emerging risks and recommend mitigation actions.

  • Verify that mitigation plans are implemented and tracked to closure.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of experience in project coordination, delivery management, program management office (PMO), implementation management or technology project oversight.

  • Certification in Project Management strongly desired

  • Experience supporting large-scale technology implementation programs.

  • Experience working within matrix organizations and global delivery models.

  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across business and technical teams.

  • Experience supporting technology transformation, modernization or implementation programs in regulated environments.

  • Experience working with PMO disciplines, governance frameworks and executive steering committees.

  • Experience working with executive governance forums, steering committees and customer-facing implementation programs.

  • Strong risk management, issue management and reporting capabilities.

  • Knowledge of PMO controls, project governance and project reporting practices.

  • Experience in lottery, gaming, regulated industries or critical transaction processing environments considered an asset.

  • Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application or client engagements.

  • Understanding of enterprise application delivery, infrastructure environments and production support processes.

Employment Eligibility Verification

Must possess valid documentation to establish identity and Canadian employment eligibility.

Security Requirements

Submission to, and ability to successfully pass, all required background and security screenings conducted by Intralot Canada and/or the applicable Provincial Lottery.

A pre-employment drug screening is also a requirement.

Special Requirements

Must possess valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
