Your Opportunity
Reporting to the Major Projects Leader, and working collaboratively with the Major Projects Director APD, the Technical Delivery Director is responsible and accountable to drive best-in-class project delivery and leading overall project execution and resourcing for the Infrastructure Major Projects Group. The position includes accountability for the design management and delivery team, and the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Manager, and overseeing the technical delivery, resource planning, digital delivery, QA/QC, and HSSE programs, to deliver high quality, technically excellent projects on time and within budget.
Your Key Responsibilities
Major Projects are defined as projects that have potential for significant financial and/or reputation impacts to Stantec and include all Alternate Project Delivery (APD) projects (Design Build, Progressive Design Build, Construction Manager at Risk, Public Private Partnership, Engineering, Procurement and Construction, Integrated Project Delivery and Alliances).
As Major Projects Technical Delivery Director (TDD), you will participate throughout all phases of APD projects including staff assignments, pursuit delivery, project delivery, construction phase engineering services, and project close out.
