Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Technical Customer Support (m,f) to join our Solution Production & Delivery department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team delivering agriculture and environment services via Earth observation satellite imagery.

As part of the team, you will help drive and strengthen the commercial development of our existing and future Forest & Environment solutions, in support of our sales teams.

Airbus Defence and Space, through its Geospatial Business unit, has been providing satellite imagery-based projects and services for over 25 years, specializing in Agriculture, Environment, and Intelligence.

Current projects cover a wide range of solutions in the field of Agriculture and Environment, including precision farming services (FARMSTAR), Grassland Production Index (GPI), and deforestation monitoring (STARLING).

Environment and more generally sustainability are considered as a key strategic development axis for our solutions, and are expected to grow significantly in the coming years. Today our most emblematic environment solution is STARLING which will be the job holder's priority in the short term.

Your challenges:

1. Business Development

• Promote Solution: Identify and develop business opportunities with existing and prospective customers, both directly and in support of Regional Sales Managers, ensuring full adherence to the "Acquire Business" process. Support Sales and Marketing teams during prospecting, tender responses (RFP), and product demonstrations.
• Market Presence: Represent the company at industry networking events and trade shows to boost brand visibility and identify new global market opportunities.
• Strategic Collateral: Create impactful materials and deliver training sessions to clients to facilitate solution adoption.

2. Operational Account Management & Stakeholder Coordination

• Client Interface: Act as the primary operational point of contact for clients and technical partners, addressing inquiries regarding production status, delivery, and advisory services.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Serve as the operational bridge between Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Production. Work in close alignment with Project Managers to ensure seamless customer relationship management.
• Performance Review: Organize and lead regular client meetings to review operational campaign performance and ensure satisfaction.

3. Product Evolution & Continuous Improvement

• Solution Optimization: Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and services by synthesizing customer feedback and market trends.
• Strategic Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing team to promote solutions, influence campaigns, analyze competitor landscapes, and structure pricing matrices to maximize revenue and profitability.

Your profile:

• Background in Agronomy and Environmental Sciences
• Min 5 years of proven experience in Sales and Business Development, specifically within the agricultural commodity markets and/or supply chain sustainability
• Understanding of remote sensing and geospatial solutions would be a plus
• Strong knowledge of environmental practices and associated regulations

• Language: fluent in French and English. Other languages appreciated.

The position will require some travels, potentially worldwide (average 1 travel every 2 months).

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
