Where You Will Work   

Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. As a Hybrid employee, you’ll engage in virtual collaboration as well as attend in-person meetings at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix or at one of our site locations. The Collaboration Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working café, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration. In-person attendance may vary based on the position and department requirements.

What You Will Do

Provides advanced technical expertise, guidance, and field support to address complex maintenance and asset reliability challenges. Serves as a critical link between enterprise reliability strategies and field execution, ensuring equipment rebuilds, repairs, preservation programs, and capital acquisitions meet established standards and deliver reliable, long-term operational performance.

• Provide technical subject matter expertise and guidance on the maintenance, repair, and reliability of industrial equipment and assets.
• Partner with external repair providers to audit repair activities, verify quality standards, and ensure compliance with established FMI rebuild specifications.
• Conduct field assessments of warehouse preservation programs to evaluate effectiveness and enhance the protection of critical assets and spare parts.
• Lead and participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at OEM facilities to verify equipment quality, functionality, and compliance with operational requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and vendor partners to optimize equipment reliability, maximize asset availability, and improve rebuild performance.
• Analyze maintenance practices and equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to improve reliability.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement while ensuring the reliability and performance of rebuilt and newly acquired equipment and components.
• Perform other duties as required.

What You Bring To Freeport

• High School diploma or GED and seven (7) years of experience in mining industry or manufacturing environment (within maintenance and/or operations), including project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Effective written, verbal, and communication skills to satisfy training, safety, and electronic message transmission policies of Company
• Experience with RCM technologies (vibration, NDT, electrical testing, etc.)
• Level I/II Magnetic Particle Certification
• Level I/II Dye Penetrant Certification
• Level I/II Visual Inspection Certification
• Level I/II Ultrasonic Testing Certification
• Vibration Analysis Training
• Mechanical rebuild experience (pumps, gearboxes, motors, pulleys, etc.)
• Failure Analysis Training and experience

What We Offer You

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $75,000-$104,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process. What We Require
