Delivery Planning & Customer Communication
- Act as the primary contact for Sales regarding order status and delivery timelines.
- Provide accurate estimated delivery dates based on material availability, production capacity, and logistics planning.
- Proactively communicate delays, schedule changes, or supply constraints.
- Ensure delivery commitments are realistic, documented, and aligned with operational capabilities.
- Monitor on-time delivery performance and highlight risks early.
Order Intake & Validation
- Receive and review incoming orders and technical documentation from Sales.
- Validate completeness and accuracy of order data before release to Engineering and Production.
- Ensure correct master data, specifications, and system entries in ERP.
- Coordinate technical clarifications to avoid downstream delays
Cross-Functional Priority Coordination
- Align order priorities with Production Planning, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
- Coordinate urgent or escalated orders and ensure visibility across departments.
- Lead follow-ups on bottlenecks impacting delivery performance.
- Escalate risks or capacity conflicts to the Supply Chain Manager when required.
Logistics & Dispatch Coordination
- Coordinate shipment planning and dispatch scheduling with Logistics.
- Confirm shipment dates and ensure required documentation is complete.
- Monitor proof of delivery and update stakeholders accordingly.
- Support resolution of delivery-related operational issues.
Order Lifecycle & System Management
- Oversee the full order lifecycle (order entry → validation → production → shipment).
- Maintain accurate tracking in ERP and reporting tools.
- Ensure data accuracy, traceability, and documentation compliance.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within Supply Chain
- Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.
- Comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Order Management, Logistics, or Manufacturing coordination
- Experience working in a production or industrial environment is preferred
- Experience with ERP systems and order tracking processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Good understanding of order lifecycle and delivery planning processes
- Familiarity with material availability and production scheduling concepts
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage and interpret operational data
- Strong coordination and prioritization skills
- Clear and structured communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
