You'll make a difference by:

  • Driving Presales Technical Consulting: Lead the presales consulting phase by translating complex customer requirements into high-performance WinCC OA SCADA architectures across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Developing and Validating Technical Proposals: Manage the development and validation of technical proposals, ensuring WinCC OA solutions are technically feasible, scalable, and commercially viable.
  • Designing Custom Industrial Solutions: Provide expert application engineering support and design bespoke software structures for industries such as aerospace, automotive, and large-scale infrastructure.
  • Providing Advanced Technical Troubleshooting: Act as the regional escalation point for 2nd and 3rd level technical issues, ensuring long-term customer success and system stability following implementation.
  • Collaborating with Global Stakeholders: Partner with Product Management, Sales, and R&D teams to align regional market requirements with the global industrial software roadmap.
  • Supporting Regional Market Expansion: Enable local country teams through technical knowledge transfer and train-the-trainer programmes to increase WinCC OA adoption across emerging markets.

Your defining qualities:

  • Strong Technical Academic Background: Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline from a recognised technical university.
  • Deep SCADA Systems Expertise: Bring extensive experience in SCADA system design and engineering, with strong preference for proficiency in WinCC OA or similar object-oriented SCADA platforms. Practical experiences to implement OT/IT integration project.
  • Hands-On Industrial Automation Experience: Demonstrate practical knowledge of testing and commissioning industrial automation components within real-world manufacturing environments. Those with a background in IT will have an added advantage.
  • Regional Mobility and Language Capability: Possess professional fluency in English and willingness to travel frequently across Asia Pacific, with occasional global travel to support key project milestones.
  • Strong Analytical Problem-Solving Skills: Apply a proactive and resilient approach to analysing and resolving complex software defects and system integration challenges in high-pressure situations.
  • Customer-Focused Communication Skills: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, translating engineering solutions into clear business value.
