Unison, a leading provider of acquisition management solutions for the federal government, is seeking a technical consultant to support the design, development, implementation and operation of its solutions throughout the Federal Civilian, DoD and Intelligence markets.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions that support real-time, near real-time, and batch data exchange between Unison and customer systems.
  • Design and execute data migration strategies, including data extraction, transformation, validation, cleansing, and loading activities.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate technical approaches, and recommend integration and migration solutions.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, web services, data transformation processes, and integration workflows using approved integration platforms and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration and data-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable resolutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, mapping specifications, deployment procedures, and support documentation.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and quality assurance efforts to ensure reliable and maintainable solutions.
  • Support implementation, upgrade, and post-production activities as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, technical standards, and integration frameworks.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor during customer-facing meetings, workshops, and implementation activities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, or supporting system integrations and/or data migration solutions.
  • Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs, web services, and integration patterns.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Experience with ETL processes, data mapping, transformation, and validation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative, customer-facing environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Talend or comparable integration and ETL platforms.
  • Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, SQL Loader, or other enterprise database technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based integration architectures and modern API management concepts.
  • Experience supporting software implementations for federal government agencies or government contractors.
  • Understanding of integration security concepts, including authentication, authorization, and data protection practices.

Clearance:Applicants may need to be the subject of a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, to include U.S. Citizenship.

Compensation:Base Salary: $85,000 - $125,000Final compensation will depend on factors such as geographic location, experience, and qualifications.

In-Person Interview:Our hiring process requires one in-person meeting, typically the final interview. Travel and accommodations will be provided.

Remote Work:Though predominantly remote, infrequent office visits will be required at least annually. All travel costs for these visits will be covered by Unison.
